"yes, prisoner" is the song played during the ending of The Mystic Archives of Dantalian anime. The music is performed by maRIONnetTe.
maRIONnetTe is a band created by Yoshihito Onda, known as BANSHEE ALIOUXCE, especially to perform in the anime ending.[1] Amu, an artist attached to the ZIZZ STUDIO, is the vocalist of the band.[2]
Composition was created by BANSHEE ALIOUXCE and lyrics by Novala Takemoto, a Japanese author and fashion designer.[2][3] The full and instrumental versions were released in a CD single.[4] The song is played in every episode, including the OVA.[5] The ending sequence is a live action short by EDP Graphic Works, directed by Ken Nikai.[6][7] Episode 12 ends with the closing credits in black background.[5]
Description[]
The ending is a eerie black-and-white montage with real actors. A barefoot, light-haired girl is dragging a heavy chest through the woods. She wears a white dress, a checkered horned half mask and a crescent moon pendant. She uses her dress to collect the keys which were hanging on branches.
The girl tries to open the chest. She looks through the keyhole. She sees bizarre figures, including a jester, a merry-go-round, a bunny plush, a hatching egg and some tools. She uses scissors to cut a strand of her hair. She inserts the strand through the keyhole, starting a mechanism which opens the chest.
The interior of the chest reveals someone in white, with a goat mask covering his face. This figure gives a box to the girl. She finds more boxes inside the first one. The last, smaller box has a strand of hair. The girl and the masked figure go inside the chest. Some pages fall next to the closed chest and, on top of it, a black-haired girl and a raven appear. The girl blows some bubbles. She looks to the camera with her bright, large eyes.[8]

- The lyrics has references to themes approached in the series, such as imprisonment, keys, dolls, mystery, burned books.[8]
- Dalian often says "Yes" and Hugh repeats the words “I ask of thee. Art thou mankind?” written on his golden key before opening the Dantalian's Bookshelf.[11]
